Ethically sourced soft, squishy yarn wonderfully hand dyed out of Edmond Oklahoma.

All yarn is dyed in small batches using acid dyes. Acid dyes are professional quality dyes that will stay vibrant even after washing and are safe and non-toxic. Most of my yarn bases are superwash but I still recommend hand washing items with wool wash or gentle soap in cool water.

I take special care to make sure all items are thoroughly rinsed and the water is clear but there is still a chance some color bleeding could occur. Some dyes are worse about this than others. Throwing a color catcher sheet in with the water when blocking or washing should help.

I photograph items as realistically as possible but some monitors can display colors differently. Multiple skeins are photographed to give you a better look at the yarn. This listing is for ONE skein of yarn. You will need to adjust the quantity if you want more than one. There may be slight variations in color from batch to batch, as is the nature and beauty of hand dyed yarn. Yarn will arrive in a twisted skein.

Bases

Deluxe Sock - This base is incredibly soft and squishy and feels amazing against the skin. It's a fingering weight yarn with 85% extrafine SW Merino and 15% Nylon, 437 yards/100g. With a micron count of 19, you'll be petting this yarn for days! The Nylon adds durability making this base perfect for socks, shawls, sweaters and just about any other project you can think of!

Squishy DK - Luxuriously soft, squishy and 1000% pettable, you'll fall in love with this base! This DK weight base is 100% extrafine SW Merino 219yd/100g with a micron count of 19. So buttery soft, you'll want it for every project!

Marvelous MOerino (Fingering Singles) - This luscious base is incredibly soft and is made of 56% extrafine SW Merino and 44% superkid mohair. This is a fingering weight singles (1 ply) yarn with 394 yards per 100g skein. The mohair is not brushed, but the singles construction allows the mohair fibers to bloom and create a delicate halo around the strand. Superkid mohair is from the first shearing and is the softest mohair the goats will ever produce. It will work up beautifully into warm, lightweight items such as shawls, cardigans, sweaters, or even hats and gloves! 

Ethereal DK - My first Non-Superwash base! This soft fluffy yarn is a yarn that is as close to its natural origins as possible. No superwash treatment, just a wash to remove the grease and dirt from the fleece then combed for spinning. A great choice for those looking for a luxurious, non superwash, no nylon yarn. This base is a 4ply construction 100% extrafine NSW Merino 246yds per 100g skein. This base is a wonderful option for garments that you don't want to lose their shape such as tops, sweaters and hats.

Alluring Aran - Alluring Aran is a delectably soft, squishy 3 ply 100% extrafine SW Merino yarn with 182yds/100g. If you love my Squishy DK base you'll love this one too! Alluring Aran is a very versatile yarn that can be used for shawls, scarves, hats, clothes and just about anything in between! It's soft and springy and feels wonderful against the skin.

Glitter Sock - Glitter Sock is a wonderfully soft sparkly fingering weight yarn. It's a 4 ply construction with a generous 437yds/100g (the same yardage as my Deluxe Sock base). It's made of 75% SW extrafine Merino, 15% Nylon and 10% Silver Stellina. This fantastic yarn can be used to make just about anything, from socks to sweaters! It's soft to the touch but has added strength thanks to the Nylon. Who doesn't want a little sparkle in their lives?
